Situated in West London in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, Shepherds Bush is an area known for being a hive of activity. With plenty of bustling bars, music venues and shopping centres on your doorstep, this district is becoming increasingly popular with business professionals and families alike thanks to its excellent transport links, outstanding schools and other exciting activities on offer.

Shepherds Bush has often been summed up as ‘rugged charm’ because although it’s undergone gentrification and continues to do so, it has still retained much of its old-fashioned character. With over 100 restaurants to choose from, the area is truly a cosmopolitan capital serving up delicious food no matter what cuisine you prefer. There’s no shortage of open green spaces either. It’s home to 13 parks, all of which have been awarded a Green Flag status which recognises high standards of cleanliness, horticulture and facilities.

The name Shepherds Bush was first recorded in 1635 and up until the 19th century, the area was a rural space with just a handful of houses and farms clustered together. In 1908, a specially-built site to the north of the district held a Great Exhibition and the buildings were finished in white stucco which gave rise to the nickname of The White City. Today, Shepherds Bush is home to the BBC and Queen’s Park Rangers football team.
